So Ponksatony Phil didn’t see his shadow on Groundhog day which means we are supposed to have an early Spring. We have barely had a winter! Does this mean the Ozarks will be getting green and blooming earlier than usual? Doesn’t really matter as it’s always beautiful here. Don’t hesitate to visit on the off season, every season has it’s own beauty and charm. Winter provides more time to build warm fires outside on the open fire pit with the mountain views while drinking hot cocoa with marshmallows.
If you were planning on visiting the Ozarks this year, it’s a good idea to get your reservations in now. Whether you want to come for a last minute winter weekend or plan your Spring/Summer/Fall trip, cabin bookings have increased over the last week and dates will begin to fill quickly. Winter here can offer a variety of weather, last week we were covered in snow and ice and today we have the windows open at 60 degrees. Get your date reserved today! 870-428-5973
The site has changed a lot today from it’s former self. I’m updating pictures the best I can for now and will update again once winter is over and things begin turning green again. The cabin is open year round and since this is the slow season, it may be available for your last minute weekend trip.
The Ozarks are beautiful all 4 seasons. This is what happens when we get a light dusting of snow over some ice. It makes a winter wonderland. The picture does not do it justice. Doesn’t it just make you want to curl up with a cup of hot chocolate and a warm blanket?
